There once was a lady who lived in Paris. Her name was Edith and she was very wealthy. She had 35,000 servants, guards and slaves all up! She was married to a man named Fredrick. They had no kids and their life was exactly how they wanted it to be until one night when everything changed... CHAPTER 1 " Honey dear", shouted Edith to her husband Fredrick. Edith was running outside to greet her husband. Fredrick had just arrived home from work. He worked as an accountant. " Hello my sweet Pineapple". Fredrick shouted in happiness to his wife. The fat couple ran up to each other. " Oh I've missed you so dearly hunny boo boo", Edith said. They hugged each other. " Mwa Mwa", they said and kissed on both sides of each others cheeks. " So how was work", asked Edith. " It was alright, but I'm glad to be home my sweet Pineapple". Edith Blushed. They entered their ginormous home and they had only walked through the front door, when Edith noticed a wet puddle on the floor. " Oh you servants aren't very good at your job are you"! She said, as a few of the servants walked past. " Mary stop standing there and looking pretty", she yelled at the young woman. Mary was working as a servant at the Dritsy's house. She was saving up for enough money to go to college. " Get over here you foul Mary and clean this puddle". She was very scared of Mrs Dritsy. Mary was a very shy and timid person. She quickly grabbed a mop and towl and got to work. The rest of the servants that were in the room had now left, because they were so scared of Mrs Dritsy. CHAPTER 2 "That wasn't very nice", said Mr Dritsy. " Oh", responded Edith. " Well ta ta" and she walked away smiling. All that night Mrs Dritsy was mean to everyone other than her husband. Her husband noticed this and was very sad! When everyone in the huge mansion went to bed that night. They all suddenly awoke in the night! There was a huge thunder storm, that awoke everyone in the house! The couple ran downstairs and there was a huge tree that fell onto a part of the house! Then another huge BANG happened. " Oh Freddy we need to get out of here"! Edith said. Mr Dritsy looked at his wife as if she was crazy! " Not without everyone out first"! He replied. Fredrick ran back upstairs and knocked on everybody's doors and yelled, " GET OUT EVERYONE"! No one had ever heard Mr Dritsy yell before! Well... other then his wife. Once everyone was safe and out of the house and the storm was over. Everyone went home and the Dritsy's knew that it would be impossible to ever have a house as fancy as this one! However, as Mary was getting into her car Edith stormed up to her and shouted so loud that the neighbors were able to hear her. " It was Mary"! She shouted. " You little rebel"! Mary was confused as ever. " You were the one who was responsible for calling the builder when we hired you"!" You were meant to check that we got everything right when we ordered everything online for the builder to bring over"! " You must of lied to us" " I BET SHE NEVER DID IT"!!!!!!! Edith was VERY mad. This was the point in Mary's life where she was no longer shy and timid! " How could you think such things! She spoke up! " I have been loyal to you and your husband since the day I set foot on this plot of land"! " I was with you from day one of building this house"! Mary was very wt and very angry." How could you be so RUDE to think that I would go behind your back and betray you like that"! " I have nothing against you"! " Except for the fact that you yell at me every single day"! Mary then said. " Before you fire me I'd like to quit"! " So goodnight to you both"! Mary then drove away in her car, angrier then she ever been in her life! Mr Dritsy was not impressed in his wife at all either and they then had to decide where they would live from now on! CHAPTER 3 They managed to get a small house for two people and lived there for the next two years. However, Mr Dritsy died after that. From a stroke. Edith mourned for months and months and months! After this event, she one day got a letter from Mary. The letter said: " Dear Mrs Dritsy, I'm so sorry to here about the loss of your beloved husband. I hope you are doing alright". " I hope you have family and friends around you to support you". Mrs Dritsy paused for a moment. She did not have family and friends to support her. She wondered why for a moment. Then she realized why. She has been to mean to everyone and no one liked her, because of this reason! Mrs Dritsy continued reading... "I was thinking about our little dispute that we had two years ago and I realized, that I was wrong to yell at you! You were dealing with a lot and still are". " You lost your house that day and you lost a lot of money, as well as all your workers who lived with you in your big fancy mansion"!" However most of all, you lost a friend". " Friend", Edith said to herself. Mary was talking about her! She was giving them a chance to be friends again! Better friends! Edith realized all of this and kept on reading, with a little bit more hope! "I was hoping you would give me another chance, to live with you and work, but not for you... with you"! Edith smiled to herself. " Anyway, I'm sure I've left you with a lot to think about". " However I hope you will consider my offer" Kind regards, your friend, Mary. Edith was astonished! She had never thought about how other people might feel other then herself! She quickly wrote back... " I would love for you to live with me and I'm sorry I was so mean to you"! " Please meet me at my house tomorrow, at 1:30 pm to discuss all of this". " I am very sorry". Sincerely, Edith CHAPTER 4 Mary met with Edith and they had so much to talk about! Mary moved in with Edith and Edith apologized to everyone she had done wrong to. The two of them were happy and they were friends now. Edith then realized, " if it wasn't for this one woman who showed kindness and compassion". " I don't know where I'd be today". THE END! By Indigo
