The Pathway to Heaven

It was raining heavily outside my family’s house, it was cold, there was big flashes of lightning and the sound of thunder made my ears ring. Then, all of a sudden it stopped. About 5 seconds later the house got struck by lightning and right through my parents, they were the only family I had, and now they were gone.

I was lucky and I got away, I went to my best friend’s house, which was the only other place that I knew. I stayed there for the night and tried to get some sleep, that didn’t really go to plan. By the time it was 5 in the morning I had already gone for a walk around the block to get my muscles warmed up, I knew what I had to do and where I had to go.

I said my goodbyes to my friends and walked to a broken old shed with a ladder going all the way up into the sky. I started climbing, I climbed for hours, it was so hard, I was close to quitting, but I kept going. Once I finally got to the top I was welcomed by angels and we went through beautiful a gold gateway, then I saw my whole family, I was the happiest I ever was before. I knew I was in heaven, with my family.
