There once was a middle age men. Him and two other riders had been stealing from families and farmers ever since they could remember. They were now not far away from Elizabeth and her mother Catherine. Elizabeth’s farther had died of cancer when Elizabeth was only 10, she is now 14. Catherine and her daughter are poor and they travel looking for places to start a farm at all the time. However, they don’t last long before getting evicted. They travel around in a horse and carriage with a huge tent at the back of the carriage, which is their house. The men noticed the woman and the main guy with a gun in is left hand and told the other two men what his plan was. The mother and daughter were talking when Catherine pointed to three men galloping on horses racing their way. Both Elizabeth and Catherine quickly got in the carriage and tried to take off, it was to late! The men had robbed them and tied them up to two trees and they were now arguing over who was going to get the Largest amount of money. The two young ladies had been kidnapped. Another 4 men arrived with a whole bunch of adults and the men shoved them and yelled at the people telling them to sit down otherwise they would be whipped. Elizabeth starting crying into her mothers arms. “ Don’t be such a baby!” The man with the whip said to Elizabeth. Catherine was fool of regret in her heart, why didn’t she just stay in Hamilton with the rest of her family. Elizabeth would’ve been safe there and happy. However, she was fulled with a broken heart.
