Cooking Poem # 1

Cakes are fun to bake You put them in the oven and you watch them rise Knowing that it's going to be so nice You melt the butter You melt it good As you should When you put the butter in the cake You mix it with all the other ingredients To make it sweet And delicious to eat My favorite part about baking a cake Is decorating it It's fun And when I'm done I admire my work Then people eat it Hopefully they stay clean I look at my little brothers face With chocolate he tastes On his cheeks there are crumbs He says how yum The cake was to eat Written By Indigo!
